I am not an authorized voice for “what Black people want” or don’t want. But from a) my personal experiences and from b) my study, this following statement is accurate.
“BLACK PEOPLE DON’T CARE if you stop saying “master bedroom” or if you remove problematic shows from decades ago from Hulu.
BLACK PEOPLE WANT
1. an end to police brutality
2. and to institutionalized racism.
Everything else is useless pandering.” (quote from an unknown source online).
That is highly credible. We can fuss with minor symbols, or we can deal with the real, murderous justice issues. Which is easier? Which is crucial?
