This idol is destroying our democracy, our economy, and many, MANY families and individuals – worshippers of greed, and their victims.
It’s a horrible god, the opposite of love, addictive, demeaning, always destructive. But because it’s our main god we can’t question it. “Of COURSE IT’S GOOD. It provides A LOT OF ENERGY. It’s the way economies work!”
Sadly even most American Christians never ask, “Is greed really worship of a fraudulent and murderous god?”
